A special enjoy for the Sudan\u2019s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has said that they are keen for another round of dialogue with the Sudanese army in Juba.<\/strong><\/p>\n Gen. Mohammad Hamandan Dagalo\u2019s envoy, Izzat Youssef on Wednesday jetted Juba to President Salva Kiir Mayardit, as the team leader of the IGAD heads of states assigned to engage the two parties for talks.<\/p>\n Youssef, while talking the press, emphasized that the leadership of the RSF has respected president Kiir\u2019s call, inviting them to undertake another dialogue in Juba, saying that they as the opposition are keen to sit.<\/p>\n Youssef admitted that indeed the nearly one-month conflict in Sudan has jeopardized the economic position and affected most innocent souls.<\/p>\n He said with the recent declaration of the ceasefire in Jeddah, entry of humanitarian services as agreed upon will rescue the war survivors.<\/p>\n \u201cWe as Rapid support forces in our trips to countries on updates concerning the war in Sudan are happy to be here in respect to president Kiir\u2019s call. South Sudan being one of our honest countries has participated a lot in ending the conflict in Sudan. \u201cSalva Kiir was one of the first people who pushed the two sides to have dialogue in Juba,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He however, applauded South Sudan\u2019s efforts in bridging talks between the two warring military generals adding that Kiir\u2019s engagements led to success of ceasefire signed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n Yousef further rubbished allegations by the Sudanese sovereign council, accusing the RSF of destroying hospitals, camping in civilian homes and blocking services to the people, terming it as propaganda.<\/p>\n He said that the agreement in Jeddah has given light for humanitarian corridors to the affected Sudanese noting that it was through the efforts made by president Kiir being the head of the IGAD mediating team.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have clarified to president Kiir about the civil situation in Sudan and its states. The accusations labeled against the Rapid Support Forces by the Sudanese army concerning insecurity in hospitals and other propagandas were not true. We have made the clarification and Kiir understood us.\u201d<\/p>\n Youssef noted that it was indeed hard for the two parties to adhere to president Kiir\u2019s call for cessation of hostilities but due to the spirit of neighborhood they decided to respond.<\/p>\n \u201cWe as RSF appreciate president Kiir and his cabinet for the efforts he used to invite intervention of other countries to push for the current ceasefire in Sudan. We respect president Kiir and understood his fairness in series of communications with us and our rivals.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Deng Dau Deng the acting minister of foreign affairs said that president Kiir appreciated the envoy from the Sudanese opposition for having respected his invitation and committed to bring peace in Sudan.<\/p>\n President Salva Kiir commended the two rivals for having declared ceasefire in Jeddah noting that the ceasefire should be felt by the Sudanese people in Khartoum.<\/p>\n \u201cAs an immediate neighbor of the Sudanese, president Kiir calls upon both parties and particularly Hemedti because he is the representation of the ceasefire and cessation of hostilities, not only cease-fire being declared in Juba or Jeddah but that can be seen by Sudanese people in Khartoum,\u201d Deng said.<\/p>\n Early this month, a special envoy for the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) Abdallah al-Haj Ali visited president Kiir and lauded him towards the hard work in engaging the two generals for ceasefire talks.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Bida Elly David A special enjoy for the Sudan\u2019s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has said that they are keen for another round of dialogue with the Sudanese army in Juba.
