Western Equatoria state Ministry of General Education and Instruction has launched a project to reduce unemployment and boost youth livelihoods.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The project aims at strengthening the gender-responsive Technical Vocational Education and Training system in South Sudan.<\/p>\n Implemented by Finn Church Aid in partnership with UNESCO, the training is expected to take six weeks.<\/p>\n It is under the strengthening TVET for youth employment and livelihood enhancement.<\/p>\n The project aims to empower the youth through livelihood skills and improve their future.<\/p>\n Speaking on behalf of the governor, Christopher Benjamin said the government has been going through so many crises, leaving Youth empowerment projects unsupported.<\/p>\n The Director General at the National level for Teaching Vocational Education Training, Gibson Waru, called on the youth to join the training and work for a better future.<\/p>\n Education program coordinator for Western Equatoria State, Mr. Okello Dominic Oliha, urged community leaders to support the youth in completing the six-month training in Yambio.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Victor Mangu Western Equatoria state Ministry of General Education and Instruction has launched a project to reduce unemployment and boost youth livelihoods.
