An attack by armed bandits in Duk County in Jonglei State left four people dead and four children abducted, authorities said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The incident occurred on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Peter Latjor Chuol, the county commissioner, told No. 1 Citizen Daily Newspaper that the incident occurred when a group of eight civilians were waylaid at the outskirts of Poktap town.<\/p>\n \u201cThose killed include an elderly man, two women, and a young girl, while four children who were in their company were abducted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The local official said the group was heading to Twic East County when they were attacked.<\/p>\n \u201cThese people were attacked on a road between Poktap in Ageer Payam and Wernyol.
