Central Equatoria State transitional legislators are preparing to receive a lump sum paycheck as a portion of their recess allowances.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The state minister of parliamentary and legal affairs presented a request before the State Cabinet to approve the cash.<\/p>\n No.1 Citizen Daily Newspaper<\/em><\/strong> has seen a total of SSP 200 million was requested for 100 state legislators to go on recess and other business.<\/p>\n However, the state council of ministries chaired by Governor Emmanuel Adil agreed on only SSP 100 million to be released for state lawmakers.<\/p>\n Indisputably, each lawmaker will pocket a sum of SSP 1 million for recess, on a date yet to be announced.<\/p>\n The state minister of information and communication, Andruga Mabe Saverino, confirmed the development that transpired in the council of ministers meeting.<\/p>\n He revealed that the cabinet directed the minister of finance and cabinet affairs to implement the resolution accordingly.<\/p>\n In another development, Mr. Mabe said the minister of Animal Resources, Fisheries, and Tourism also tabled a memo on the policy framework, which was also passed by the cabinet.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Honorable Council of Ministers resolves to pass the policy framework of the Ministry of Tourism with amendments,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n The Cabinet further directed the institution concerned to present the policy before the state assembly for further appraisal and approval.<\/p>\n CES government spokesperson also revealed that Governor Adil formed a committee to initiate dialogue with Pibor administrative area on issues of child abductions.<\/p>\n Central Equatoria state security advisor is leading the committee.<\/p>\n \u201cThey have already been dispatched this morning, according to the news we received,\u201d Mr. Mabe continued.<\/p>\n Similarly, on border matters, Minister Mabe disclosed that regional engagement is being initiated to handle border issues with neighboring countries, such as Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.<\/p>\n \u201cHis Excellency the President has called upon the youth and all the people affected to refrain from violence and to maintain order as measures are taken seriously to defuse the tension,\u201d he advised.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By William Madouk Central Equatoria State transitional legislators are preparing to receive a lump sum paycheck as a portion of their recess allowances.
