At least six people are being detained in Rum-tiit Boma, Aweil town of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State after discovering remains of a dead person.<\/p>\n
The area administrator, Dut Garang Dau, said the six suspects were in police custody to help establish the cause of the death.<\/p>\n
The deceased is believed to have died or killed for about a month or two but was not identified earlier.<\/p>\n
Garang called for the state authorities to investigate the case and appealed to the calmness and humility of the people of Aweil to prevent such incidents.<\/p>\n
He said the six suspects are being held in police custody due to their proximity to the site where the deceased’s remains were found.<\/p>\n
Rum-tiit is a suburb in Aweil Town, known for its arable land and agricultural activities.<\/p>\n
