President Salva Kiir Mayardit has relieved the Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Bark Barnaba Chol, from office.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n In a separate decree, Kiir appointed Eng. Awow Daniel Chuang as the new minister of Finance and Planning, after relieving him from his position as Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Petroleum.<\/p>\n No reasons were given for the sacking.<\/p>\n Dr. Bak was appointed in August last year replacing Dier Tong Ngor.<\/p>\n Before this appointment as Finance Minister, Dr. Bak was an adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Juba.<\/p>\n He has been teaching advanced managerial finance, financial management, financial markets and entrepreneurship to both MBA and undergraduate students.<\/p>\n Bak holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Juba, an MBA in International Finance from the University of Buckingham (UK) and a Doctorate in Business Administration with a major in finance from the United States International University in Kenya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By No. Citizen Daily Newspaper President Salva Kiir Mayardit has relieved the Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Bark Barnaba Chol, from office.
