Members of Civil Society and Churches need to be objective on matters of transparency as they do their advocacy job.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Joseph Bangasi Bakosoro made the call while addressing members of the Civil Society in a forum in Juba on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Bakosoro noted that some activists want to be directors of the government but urged them to maintain their objective role of being the voice of the voiceless rather than being subjective.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, sacrifice as Civil Society and as Religious Leaders and tell the truth. And the truth will not only set you free but your country as well,\u201d Mr Bakosoro urged the activists.<\/p>\n The presidential affairs minister condemned some activists who he said do not seem to have a vision but only focus on projects to make money.<\/p>\n The same event was attended by Ambassador Joram Mukama Biswaro, the Special Envoy of the African Union (AU) to South Sudan.<\/p>\n The continental bloc whose focus in South Sudan currently is on Chapter V of the R-ARCISS \u201cthe transitional Justice\u201d stages campaigns on \u201cLeave no stone unturned.\u201d<\/p>\n On this Campaign, Ambassador Biswaro said Civil Society is a Cornerstone that plays a significant role in the realization of the mechanisms in the agreement.<\/p>\n \u201cI therefore wish the Civil Society to continue its role to reach out to the people out there not necessarily at Pyramid but go beyond Pyramid,\u201d Amb.
