A presiding bishop of Grace Gospel Church, in collaboration with Pastors Network of Evangelical Churches and People of Hope, donated second-hand clothes to the Imurok community in Torit County.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Bishop Joshua Lokurdek distributed second-hand clothes and shoes to the community, with the aim of encouraging parents to send their children to school.<\/p>\n Bishop Lokurdek emphasized the importance of education as a foundation for the development of the Imurok payam.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, our mission is to see the most vulnerable group of communities and we started now with the second-hand clothes and shoes given to them and also to encourage the parents to send their children to school,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n German Charles Ojok, the Eastern Equatoria State Advisor to the Governor on Economic Affairs, commended the church for its outreach efforts in supporting the vulnerable communities of Imurok payam.<\/p>\n Ojok encouraged the community to stand with the church and embrace the blessings that come from following the gospel of truth.<\/p>\n Ojok reassured the community that the distributed gifts would not bring harm or sickness but rather serve as a source of blessing.<\/p>\n He emphasized that the provision of second-hand clothes and shoes aimed to ensure children’s comfort during the scorching heatwave and encourage their attendance at school.<\/p>\n The distribution of second-hand clothes and shoes commenced in Torit Central Prison before reaching Magwi and ultimately benefiting the Imurok communities.<\/p>\n This gesture was organized by the Pastors Network of Evangelical Churches in collaboration with People of Hope in South Sudan.<\/p>\n The Imurok community expressed gratitude for the visit and the gifts, viewing them as a positive contribution to their lives.<\/p>\n They were encouraged to embrace the blessings and remain close to God by following His path.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Ijoo Bosco A presiding bishop of Grace Gospel Church, in collaboration with Pastors Network of Evangelical Churches and People of Hope, donated second-hand clothes to the Imurok community in Torit County.
