A tragic car accident in Aweil East County, Northern Bahr El Gazal State has claimed the life of a local clerk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n On Tuesday evening, Tito Tiek Chuor’s motorbike collided with a Landcruiser at Amarjat market, leaving him critically injured.<\/p>\n He succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Wednesday morning, leaving the community devastated.<\/p>\n Tiek, who served as a clerk in Aweil for years, was on his way to work in Wanyjok town, the county headquarters when the fatal incident occurred.<\/p>\n Eyewitnesses reported that Tiek’s motorbike collided with a car that had emerged from the nearby houses of Sultan Abdelbagi Ayii Akol, the father of H.E. Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi.<\/p>\n Garang Chuor, a relative of the deceased, recounted the tragic events.<\/p>\n “Tiek was going to Wanyjok as usual for his work duties, and as he reached Amarjal market, a car emerged from the houses of Sultan Abdelbagi and collided with him. Tiek fell off his bike, which was then crushed, and he was taken unconscious,” he said.<\/p>\n Despite being rushed to the hospital, the doctor’s efforts to save Tiek were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n “He didn’t manage to survive the doctors’ attempts to revive him. Immediately in the early hours of Wednesday, Tiek was pronounced dead. He is so young and kind,” Chuor lamented.<\/p>\n The late Tiek was recently promoted to a director position in the chamber of commerce at Wanyjok town.
