The head of the Catholic Church in South Sudan has donated 10 million South Sudanese Pounds for completion of a project at Sacred Heart of Jesus-Kworejik in Luri Payam.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n His Eminence Stephen Cardinal Ameyu Martin Mulla announced the contribution during the feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Patron Saint of the Church, over the weekend.<\/p>\n According to the Cardinal, the money is meant to construct a fence and house for the priests and part of it to repair Kworejik Bridge.<\/p>\n \u201cIn many places I have moved to, I have noticed that many priests do not own homes. A priest in Lokiliri does not have one, another priest in Lobonok does not have a house,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n Cardinal Stephen also encouraged the County Authority to boost efforts on security in order for citizens to be able to embark on development.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Juba County Commissioner, Emmanuel Tete Ezbon pledged to rehabilitate Kworejik-Luri Road to enable free and safe movement.<\/p>\n Impediment of movement along Kworejik-Luri, due to the poor road infrastructure, had sparked an outcry from citizens.<\/p>\n The commissioner also vowed to improve the security in the area which is another milestone to restoration of peace and stability.<\/p>\n \u201cIf we want to move forward, let us collectively fight insecurity.
