Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani on Wednesday received comprehensive reports from three committees charged with evaluating key governance areas in the state.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Governor Jadalla praised the committees for their diligent work and pledged to \u201ctake action\u201d on the issues identified in their reports.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that the initiative is focused on enhancing governance and not on \u201ctargeting individuals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The committees, established by gubernatorial orders in May, were tasked with reviewing various aspects of state governance. The first committee scrutinized financial records, budgets, revenue collections, and investments. The second assessed the management and disposal of government assets, lands, and properties. The third evaluated administrative policies, human resource operations, and civil service matters.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing journalists at a joint press conference in Juba, Clement Maring Samuel, the deputy chairperson for the committee that evaluated government assets, lands, and properties, said they submitted their findings, observations, and recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>He said their report covers the period from 2021 to 2024 but declined to disclose specific findings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have already rendered the report to the governor.\u00a0And all details that we gathered, the findings, the observations, and the recommendations are all in there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Maring however refused to disclose their findings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnless we are authorized by the governor to expose details of the report,\u00a0we cannot do it by ourselves,\u201d he stated.\u00a0\u201cHe is the legitimate person to give it to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Simon Kiman Lado, Chairperson of the financial records committee, stated that their report includes both findings and recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur job is to inform the public that we have completed our work,\u201d Lado said.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson Shuka Nishak, Chairperson of the administrative policies committee, said their review focused on recruitment, promotions, and retirements within the civil service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe identified areas for improvement and submitted our findings to the Governor,\u201d Shuka added.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Jadalla affirmed his commitment to addressing the issues raised and implementing the necessary reforms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Deng Ghai Deng &nbsp; Central Equatoria State Governor Gen.
