Governor of Central Equatoria State Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, last week, graced reconciliation process between indigenous of Rombur in Luri Payam, Juba County after years of misunderstanding.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Misunderstandings arising from land disputes and power struggles among the indigenous since 2016 have caused unrest in the community.<\/p>\n A reconciliation initiative, initiated by the Governor brought together the warring parties who managed to speak out their grievances through youth, women and elder representatives.<\/p>\n Following the acceptance to co-exist and reconcile among themselves, Governor Jadalla told the warring parties \u201cto accept peace and genuine reconciliation,\u201d emphasizing that \u201cthe law will take its course\u201d against planters of conflict, disunity and violence in the community.<\/p>\n On his part, Emmanuel Tete, the Commissioner of Juba County on his part said that \u201cthe issue of leadership scramble is due to land.\u201d<\/p>\n He called for \u201cunity of purpose\u201d among the community members.<\/p>\n His Lordship Santo Loku Pio, the Auxiliary Bishop of Catholic Archdiocese of Juba who ministered the reconciliation with prayers and blessings called on the government not to leave the decision of allotting land to be handled by chiefs.<\/p>\n \u201cJuba County got spoiled because of land demarcation.
