In a strong defense of former Central Equatoria Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony, his former press secretary, Derick Derickson, has dismissed accusations that his administration failed to remit revenue to banks, labelling the claims as a political witch hunt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Last week, Mr. Simon Waakhe Wudu, Press secretary of the state governor (Gen. In other words, I can describe it as a witch hunt,\u201d said Derick.<\/p>\n \u201cThe report alleged that former leadership of Emmanual Adil was doing none remittance of the state resources to the designated account of the government. This is a wild allegation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n He added that the minister of finance can give proof against \u2018wild\u2019 claims that the \u2018state is running on no remittance,\u2019 which was inept.<\/p>\n \u201cThe ministry of finance who was by then in the leadership of Emmanuel can give proof to what they alleged to be running state through no remittance into designated accounts,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Derick claimed that Jadalla\u2019s leadership has shown a political witch hunt against Adil since day one.<\/p>\n \u201cWhy all this witch hunt against the outstanding leadership of the governor [Adil]?
