Authorities in Lakes State have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly killing his father in Yirol East County.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Lakes State Police Spokesman Maj. Elijah Mabor Makuac reported that the incident occurred on the evening of September 2 at approximately 7:30 PM in Acholdit village, Yali Payam.<\/p>\n According to Maj. Makuac, the confrontation began when the young man became involved in a heated argument with his sister, who had left home to attend a traditional dance without permission.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen he returned home armed with a gun, he started to assault his sister,\u201d Makuac explained. \u201cWhen their father intervened to separate them using a stick, the son stabbed him with a spear.\u201d<\/p>\n The incident was promptly reported to the police, who intervened and arrested the suspect.<\/p>\n He is currently in police custody in Yirol East County, awaiting further investigation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Yang Ater Yang Authorities in Lakes State have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly killing his father in Yirol East County.
