Authorities in the Torit Municipal Council have introduced the use of Form 13 to streamline legal and judicial services at the Central Police Station in Torit Town.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Form 13 is a police criminal form specifically designed to address issues of indiscipline among individuals in the community.<\/p>\n In an interview with this outlet, Captain Karlo Iyabu Isidoro, the head of the central police station, Form 13 will be used to expedite cases involving “notorious personnel who are indiscipline in society.”<\/p>\n The form allows for a more direct route to the high court, bypassing some of the lengthy procedures typically associated with legal proceedings.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always use for emergency cases if your boy or your son or your daughter refuse to attend to your administration or use to beat people at home you can bring him to police and open the case so we can fill form 13 direct to the high court for trial,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt can\u2019t take long statement. We simply fill in the names of the suspect, complainant, defense witnesses, and prosecution witnesses. From there, the case is passed directly to the crime officer, then to the Public Prosecution Authority (PPA), and finally to the high court. This can be done in just one day,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n The crime officer emphasized that Form 13 is intended for urgent matters and will be used in conjunction with community policing efforts to raise awareness among citizens.<\/p>\n Captain Karlo noted that unlike traditional procedures, Form 13 does not require an arrest warrant before a case can be brought to court.<\/p>\n \u201cThis form is going to be use very urgently on any matter but the community policing will educate the citizens about the form 13 in any of their community policing meetings,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The introduction of Form 13 is expected to improve the efficiency of the justice system in Torit and provide quicker relief to victims of crime.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Ijoo Bosco Authorities in the Torit Municipal Council have introduced the use of Form 13 to streamline legal and judicial services at the Central Police Station in Torit Town.
