\nI was afraid of appearing weak
\nUntil I realized how strong
\nI truly was
\nI was afraid of being seen as
\nsmall and unimportant
\nUntil I discovered my
\ntrue power and potential
\nI was afraid of being
\nperceived as ugly
\nUntil I learned to fully
\nappreciate my own beauty
\nI was afraid of failure
\nUntil I learned that
\nit was an illusion
\nWhen viewed through
\nthe eyes of love,
\ngrowth and learning
\nI was afraid of feeling low
\nUntil I learned that it was
\nthe birthplace of brilliance
\nAnd where my greatest
\ntransformation occurred
\nI was afraid of change
\nUntil I realized it was an
\ninevitable part of life
\nIn a world full of things
\ntemporary and fleeting
\nI was afraid of being alone
\nUntil I learned to fully embrace
\nand appreciate my own company
\nI was afraid of my uniqueness
\nUntil I learned that it was
\nwhere my greatness lay
\nI was afraid of the darkness
\nUntil I remembered that I was the light
\nAnd I was afraid of life
