A fatal ambush along Nzara-Tambura Road in Western Equatoria State has claimed lives of four people.<\/em><\/strong> Nzara County Commissioner, Lino Futaki told No.1 Citizen Newspaper that the attack occurred approximately 12 miles from Nzara town, targeting five travelers.<\/p>\n \u201cWe received reports that five individuals were ambushed by unidentified gunmen. Tragically, four were killed instantly, while one sustained serious injury,\u201d the Commissioner said.<\/p>\n He urged residents to exercise caution, particularly at night, and called on the state government to deploy additional security forces to the area.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Western Equatoria State Acting Police Commissioner, General Samuel Tet confirmed that security agencies have launched an investigation into the attack.<\/p>\n \u201cThe victims were mostly cyclists traveling toward Tambura. Security personnel have already been dispatched to the crime scene, and we are gathering intelligence to track down the perpetrators,\u201d Gen.
