Unknown arsonists, in the early hours of Saturday, burned down Malek-Mayar payam\u2019s premises.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Authorities in Aweil West County, Northern Bahr El Ghazal State, are searching for the suspects.<\/p>\n The incident occurred while the Payam officials were still at home, leaving them speechless and creating shockwaves in the community.<\/p>\n \u201cThe issue took people by surprise; many were still sleeping when it was realized that the Malek-Mayar payam had been burned. The suspect(s) have not been found,\u201d said Chol Duang, the county\u2019s director for information in Nyamlel.<\/p>\n \u201cThe security personnel have been dispatched to the scene, including police, security services, CID, and government officials, but no reports have been released yet,\u201d Duang narrated.<\/p>\n Chol also revealed that the minister for parliamentary affairs visited the scene to assess the level of destruction, which he will report to the state government.<\/p>\n He urged people to cooperate with the investigating body to apprehend the suspects, stating they are doing everything in their power to bring the perpetrator to court.<\/p>\n Other residents blame the act on maladministration by local elites, including the registration of local people for relief items that are diverted by local government officials, including the chiefs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Hou Akot Hou Unknown arsonists, in the early hours of Saturday, burned down Malek-Mayar payam\u2019s premises.
