Chinese Embassy in South Sudan officially handed over a consignment of humanitarian aid to Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria State, in a ceremony held in Juba.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The event was attended by key dignitaries, including H.E. Ma Qiang, the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan; Julius Ajeo Moilinga, Chairperson of the Eastern Equatoria State Parliamentary Caucus of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA).<\/p>\n Other officials include Betty Achan Ogwaro and Lokang Imoya Lujina Salvatore, both members of the TNLA; and Mr. Lawrence Akola Sarafino, Director General for Planning, Training and Coordination of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of South Sudan.<\/p>\n Chinese Ambassador Ma Qiang emphasized that the aid distribution to Magwi County represents a tangible outcome of the discussions between Chinese President Xi Jinping and South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit at the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit.<\/p>\n He highlighted the initiative as a practical demonstration of China’s commitment to building a shared future for humanity.<\/p>\n “China remains dedicated to providing assistance to South Sudan within its capacity, supporting the nation’s economic development and improving the livelihoods of its people,” Ambassador Ma Qiang stated.<\/p>\n South Sudanese officials, led by Moilinga, expressed their profound gratitude for the timely and benevolent aid. “This aid will be swiftly distributed to the residents of Magwi County,” Moilinga affirmed.<\/p>\n In addition to the humanitarian supplies, Ambassador Ma Qiang presented South Sudanese officials with the fourth volume of “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Staff writer Chinese Embassy in South Sudan officially handed over a consignment of humanitarian aid to Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria State, in a ceremony held in Juba.
