{"id":35420,"date":"2025-05-07T07:00:07","date_gmt":"2025-05-07T05:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onecitizendaily.com\/?p=35420"},"modified":"2025-05-06T20:35:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T18:35:27","slug":"reshuffle-hits-three-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/index.php\/2025\/05\/07\/reshuffle-hits-three-states\/","title":{"rendered":"Reshuffle hits three States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Nakwam Rose<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued series of decrees relieving officials in three states: Upper Nile, Warrap, and Central Equatoria State.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The decrees, read over the state-owned TV, South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation on Monday evening, primarily affected officials hailing from Sudan People\u2019s Liberation Movement (SPLM-IO).<\/p>\n<p>In Upper Nile State, the President relieved county commissioners in Nasir and Ulang, areas where hostilities between the SPLM-IO and the White Army led to the deaths of civilians, government officials, and many others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Upper Nile State<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>State Advisor: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Joakino Fidel, Security and Peace Advisor, and replaced with Altheib Okic Ajang.<\/p>\n<p><strong>State Ministers: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>James Monyluak Mijok, Minister of Peace Building, relieved.<\/li>\n<li>James Bachew Tewe, Minister of Information and Communication replaced with Peter G. Akuei.<\/li>\n<li>Pal Deng, Minister of Finance and replaced with Martin Muonykuer.<\/li>\n<li>Somon Ruot Riang, Minister of Trade, and replaced with Simon Duop Puk.<\/li>\n<li>Tijwok Edward Ador, Minister of Agriculture, relieved.<\/li>\n<li>Deng Ding Lueth, Minister of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development and replaced with Akuc Jol Achiek<\/li>\n<li>Banyji Hernest, Minister of Health, and replaced with Tijwok Edward Ador.<\/li>\n<li>Peter Rek Dak, Minister of Education, and replaced with Peter Alberto Mabano.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Independent Commission:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Peter Mugo Akuei, Human Rights Commission, and replaced with Chiok Zain Arop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>State Parliament:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Philip Akol Amon appointed Speaker of the State Parliament, replacing Jacob Dollar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>County Commissioners: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ding Deng appointed as a new commissioner of Renk, and replaced Akoc Jol Achiek.<\/li>\n<li>Onek Okech appointed as a new commissioner of Pachoda, and replaced Yangu Chiok Ajang.<\/li>\n<li>James Chol appointed as a new commissioner of Akoka, and replaced Gew Chuol Yach.<\/li>\n<li>Manyiol Akok appointed as the new commissioner of Maluth, and replaced Chiok Zain Arop<\/li>\n<li>Justice Nhial Batoang appointed as a new commissioner of Ulang, replacing Riek Gach Gatluak.<\/li>\n<li>Gen Gatwech Jock Deng appointed as a new commissioner of Nasir, and replaced James Gatluak Lew.<\/li>\n<li>Koang Diew appointed as a new commissioner of Longichuk, and replaced Dak Tut Dey.<\/li>\n<li>Deng Angow appointed as the new Office of the Commissioner, Juba County Commissioner of Baliet, and replaced Martin Monykuer.<\/li>\n<li>John Paul Kuma appointed as the new commissioner of Maban, and replaced Peter Alberto.<\/li>\n<li>Zechariah Luany Amum appointed as a new commissioner of Manyo, and replaced Peter Awan Odong.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>In Warrap State:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>State Advisor: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Peter Matem Yak, Security and Peace Advisor, and replaced with Mayiik Agoth Mayot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>State Ministers: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Agem Akotdit Madur, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and replaced with Dr. Acuil Malei Aliap.<\/li>\n<li>Michael Kero Machar, Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports, and replaced with John Garang Mabior Ater.<\/li>\n<li>James Ayiek Bath, Minister of Information and Communication Services, replaced Mamer Bath Matiok.<\/li>\n<li>Appointed Paulino Mabeny Mayok Yuot as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, which was vacant.<\/li>\n<li>Mamer Bath Mabok, Minister of Labour, Public Services and Human Resources Development and replaced him with Gabriel Machol Kur.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Independent Commissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Malou Madut Malou, Chairperson, Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), and replaced with James Ajiek Maruoo Bol.<\/li>\n<li>Bona Mawan Yak, Member, Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), and replaced with Aluak Maj\u00f6k.<\/li>\n<li>Diany Rou Riak, Deputy Chairperson, Anti-Corruption Commission, and replaced with Manok Akot Atem.<\/li>\n<li>Thokriel Chileu, Chairperson, Peace and Conflict Resolution Commission and replaced with Benjamin Anyar Mabior.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>County Commissioners: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Makur Dhuol Ajook, Commissioner, Tonj East County, and replaced with Ngor Dhuol Mangong.<\/li>\n<li>Ring Deng Ading, Commissioner, Tonj South County, and replaced with John Ajiek Warwien.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>In Central Equatoria State <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>David Lisi Christopher relieved as commissioner of Kajo-keji replaced with Yangule Atanasio.<\/li>\n<li>George Wani Elia Commissioner of Terekeka County replaced with Dr. Emmanuel Laku Ladu<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Nakwam Rose &nbsp; President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued series of decrees relieving officials in three states: Upper Nile, Warrap, and Central Equatoria State.
