Central Equatoria State Governor, Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, who also serves as the state Chairperson of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), vowed to strengthen mobilization.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

While presiding over swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed SPLM Deputy Chairperson and Assistant Secretaries, on Monday, Governor Jadalla urged the officials to focus on grassroots mobilization.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Focus your efforts on grassroots mobilization, strengthening our party organs, and advancing the SPLM agenda in every County, Payam, and Boma,” Jadalla said. “Our Chairman, H.E. Comrade Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, expects us to lead with integrity, defend the party\u2019s reputation, and protect the trust of our people.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Governor Jadalla called on the executives and members alike to remain disciplined and uphold integrity and commitment to preserving the SPLM\u2019s image.<\/span><\/p>\n

He encouraged SPLM members to focus on economic empowerment, stating that the strength of the party relies on its members. The governor reiterated the need for economic empowerment through training and self-reliance initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

He stated that the establishment of party-run businesses and cooperative societies remains of great importance for strengthening the SPLM\u2019s financial foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the event held under the unifying theme: \u201cUnity of Purpose for Strengthening SPLM Progress in Central Equatoria State,\u201d the governor urged the members to remain united.<\/span><\/p>\n

On his part, Bol Makueng, the SPLM Secretary for Political Affairs, Mobilization, and Organization at the SPLM National Secretariat, who graced the event as the Chief Guest, emphasized the critical need for unity, dedication, and ideological clarity among the newly appointed officials.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bol urged the party members to champion the SPLM vision and mission with renewed vigor.<\/span><\/p>\n

“To be cohesive, you must first be united. This unity is the foundation of political maturity,” said Cde. Makueng. “We must renew SPLM in every heart and home, and restore its essence within ourselves and throughout the party structures.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He underscored the importance of continuous capacity building to empower SPLM cadres and expedite party advancement, including the comprehensive registration of members across the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

The state party secretary, Anna Kaku Samson, appealed to outgoing officials to embrace the structural changes and support the party\u2019s ongoing transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n

She called for collective responsibility and unity of purpose among all SPLM members in the state to achieve common goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The secretary vowed to ensure that mobilization is strengthened as the 2026 election approaches.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his address on behalf of Comrade Dwoki Moses Loboso, Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs and Organization, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the State Chairperson for the confidence entrusted to them.<\/span><\/p>\n

He reaffirmed the appointees\u2019 dedication to SPLM\u2019s core principles: democracy, accountability, and transparency.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We will convene all SPLM-affiliated ministers in the State to develop clear ministerial policy frameworks, which will be monitored by the party Secretariat and used as benchmarks for performance evaluation,” he said. “We will also initiate sincere intra-party dialogue to shape our collective future.”<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
