The Commissioner of Kajo-Keji County in Central Equatoria State apologized to citizens for the hardship that they endure, because of instability.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n In his Independence Day message to citizens, Wani Jackson Mule expressed agony over ongoing instability in the country. He implored all citizens to embrace peace and unity.<\/p>\n \u201cI sincerely apologize for the hardships endured by our people during past periods of instability; I now call upon each of you to come together and join in celebrating this important national milestone,\u201d Wani said.<\/p>\n South Sudan has been experiencing economic, social, and political hardships in the previous months to date. This has rendered a lot of civilians homeless and lifeless. It severely deteriorates the security and threatens the already staggering revitalized peace agreement.<\/p>\n Clashes mainly in Morobo, Tonj, Ulang and many others have threatened the security system, leaving thousands to flee into the bushes as well as neighboring countries for safety and comfort.<\/p>\n The commissioner acknowledged ongoing challenges, especially in areas of insecurity and economy, but reminded South Sudanese that they must embrace the spirit of patriotism by overcoming the struggles they go through.<\/p>\n \u201cWe must remember that South Sudan is our homeland, and like many African nations that faced similar struggles, we too can overcome and build a strong, unified nation,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n Wani emphasized that these hardships have caused discomfort among many civilians but pleaded to them to adhere and unify as a nation.<\/p>\n He further sends his greetings to the people of Kajo Keji and appreciates the leadership of His Excellency President Salva Kiir for preserving a unity in the nation despite all the trials and temptations incurred.<\/p>\n \u201cLet us gather in unity and solidarity to celebrate our nation\u2019s independence with pride, hope, and a rewarding commitment to a better future for all,\u201d the commissioner stressed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Nakwam Rose The Commissioner of Kajo-Keji County in Central Equatoria State apologized to citizens for the hardship that they endure, because of instability.
