Central Equatoria State Government has condemned the recent abduction of a Paramount Chief and two aid workers in Yei River County.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n According to the report, the incident occurred on Monday July 7 this week while the victims were en-routing to a community dialogue program.<\/p>\n The State cabinet, on Thursday during Council of Ministers’ weekly meeting, chaired by governor, Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, condemned the act.<\/p>\n Acting Minister of Information and Communication, Hon. Jacob Aligo Lo-Lado said in press statement that the two aid workers were released after a ransom.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Paramount Chief of Yei, Mr. Joseph Brown, and two aid workers were abducted along the Yei\u2013Tore Road while on a peace mission. The Council of Ministers condemns this criminal act and urges all armed groups to cease targeting civilians,\u201d.
