Wonduruba Administrative Payam Administrator has appealed to non-governmental organizations to support the area in terms of provision of services to the community.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n According to press release, Towongo Stephen made the statement on Thursday, in a briefing to Central Equatoria State Governor, Rabi Mujung Emmanuel on the general security situation and pressing developmental needs in the area.<\/p>\n \u201cI appeal to NGOs to support Wonduruba, especially in strengthening the health and education sectors\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He also said despite pockets of some incidents, a notable improvement in security situation across the Payam.<\/p>\n \u201cCitizens are now going about their normal activities\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Towongo noted lack of an ambulance remained a serious challenge, lives were sometimes lost while seeking better medical attention.<\/p>\n The statement emphasized Administrator conveyed the community\u2019s appeal for youth and women empowerment through capacity-building initiatives and small business support.<\/p>\n He also underlined the strategic importance of community-driven efforts to establish a shorter access route between Juba and Wonduruba, which would significantly improve connectivity and stimulate local development.<\/p>\n The statement underscored Governor Mujung emphasized the community\u2019s concerns regarding inadequate health and education services, particularly highlighting the urgent need for an ambulance to support emergency medical responses.<\/p>\n It also highlighted that encroachment of armed cattle herders in the area continued to remain another challenge.<\/p>\n The statement further noted Governor Mujung welcomed the positive security developments and commended the leadership for its efforts.<\/p>\n He urged the people of Wonduruba to continue promoting peace and to actively participate in agricultural activities as a means to boost food security.<\/p>\n He called initiation of home-grown solutions to engage people who took arms against the government to join the Country’s peace process.<\/p>\n The Governor further reiterated his commitment to collaborate with relevant authorities and development partners to enhance health, education, and infrastructure services in the Payam.<\/p>\n \u200e<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Lodu William Odiya Wonduruba Administrative Payam Administrator has appealed to non-governmental organizations to support the area in terms of provision of services to the community.
