At least 3,895 candidates, both primary and secondary school sat for the sixth edition of the Juba Joint Mock Examination.<\/p>\n

The Joined Mock Examination brought together candidates from both primary and secondary schools in three states, central Equatoria state in juba, Jonglei state Bor and Eastern Equatoria state Nimule.<\/p>\n

The competing schools were 31 schools from the above-mentioned states.<\/p>\n

Some competing schools includes, Elite High school, Darling wisdom Academy, St. Lawrence Academy, Shiek El Nuur High schools, Alliance High school, King\u2019s Way Academy, City View Academy, Inter- Ethnic primary, St. Peter primary and more schools.<\/p>\n

In a press statement to the media, the Chairperson of Juba Joined Mock Examination Broad JJMEB, who is also the headmaster of Elite High School, Mr. Chol Ruben Maken stated that, there were 3898 candidates.<\/p>\n

Ruben added that candidates included both science and Arts with primary candidates as well.<\/p>\n

The candidates were sitting in 17 centers in Juba while others in the two states of Jonglei, Eastern Equatoria sat in their respective schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe only sent the field monitors to the state, our objectives of forming this JJMEB is to produce competent citizens with a clear mindset through competitive examinations, transformative and quality education provision as well as to inculcate and install discipline in the students\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n

He noted that some schools to compete in Juba joined mock exam since the competing schools were privates, stating that no government or public school joined the examination.<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout the years, there has never been malpractice or leakage of exam in our system\u201d Ruben added.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the best student in South Sudan in national result was among these schools competing,\u00a0 from Daystar Academy Secondary School from Bor, Jonglei state and those who are normally fail JJME passed the national exam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
