A swarm of bees has stung a 48-year-old man to death in Aweil East of Northern Bahr El Gazal state(NBGs).<\/p>\n

According to the local sources on the ground, the incident occurred on Sunday at Parot village.<\/p>\n

The sources reported that the incident occurred when the man who was trekking back to his home from Wanyjok town\u2019s market got attacked by a swarm of bees.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media, Mayen Yai, one of the relatives of the deceased, said that several attempts were made to rescue him, but all went in vain.<\/p>\n

He cited that after the incident the victim was taken to the hospital but still passed on due to the severity of the pain.<\/p>\n

Yai described the situation as more tragic, as people were dumbfounded by the situation that unfolded all of a sudden.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was so surprising to lose an able-bodied person such as Uncle Alou Alou; nobody knew that he would befall such a mystery, such as dying through bees that stung him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mayen urged the public to remain vigilant, as some vegetation is inhabited by a lot of wild animals and insects.<\/p>\n

He said this is the first time of its kind for such an incident to occur in the area.<\/p>\n
