Another plane has crash-landed in Akobo County of Jonglei State, barely a week after another plane crash-landed in Bor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuot John Akech, the Director of Bor Airport said the plane that crashed on Saturday was carrying six passengers and some other non-food items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated that all passengers on board were unhurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe aircraft was carried 7 passengers and some non food items to the area, the passengers plus the crew are all unhurt,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuot said the aircraft belongs to the same aviation company whose plane crashed while landing in Bor airport a week ago, adding that the plane is the same type of aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He however, did not disclose which aviation company owns the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSafety is the priority and the civil aviation has already formed a committee to investigate what is repeatedly causing the accidents,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plane crashes have been common in South Sudan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, Wednesday a plane crashed while landing in Bor airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month plane carrying Examination papers for primary eight candidates crashed in Agok Airstrip of Abyei region after it missed the runway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
