In total, 65% of all candidates passed the mock examinations.<\/p>\n<p>He described the 2025 results as encouraging, noting that the improvement came despite ongoing economic hardships faced by teachers, parents, and learners.<\/p>\n<p>Taban commended educators for their dedication and urged them to continue prioritizing science and mathematics subjects to strengthen students\u2019 academic performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s results show great progress compared to 2024, despite the many challenges we face,\u201d Commissioner Taban said. \u201cTeachers and parents should remain exemplary as they nurture the young generation of Yei.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the teachers, Hassan Aburash, congratulated the county education department, parents, and fellow teachers for their hard work and commitment. He encouraged pupils to remain focused and avoid complacency as they prepare for their final examinations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStudents should not relax after the mock results. Continued study and discipline are key to success,\u201d he advised.<\/p>\n<p>Malish Isaac, a disability rights advocate in Yei, praised the pupils for their determination amid economic hardship. He urged students to stay disciplined and avoid loitering in town, emphasizing that education is the foundation for a better future.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Education Advisor Juan Magret Lomora attributed the improved results to the dedication of teachers across the county. She called on school administrators to strengthen supervision and support systems for teachers, noting that many pupils are still recovering from psychological distress caused by past instability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeachers need motivation to continue delivering quality education,\u201d Lomora said. \u201cPupils must also respect and cooperate with their teachers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The County Education Director, Philip, expressed pride in the success achieved, saying it was the result of collective effort despite logistical challenges during the examination process.
