The Kajo-Keji Football Association (KKFA) has annulled Jalimo United FC\u2019s 2\u20130 victory over Falcon FC after ruling that Jalimo fielded an ineligible goalkeeper who played under a false name, the association noted in a disciplinary decision issued Monday.<\/p>\n

In a KKFA statement regarding the resolution addressed to Jalimo United FC, the KKFA Disciplinary and Competitions Committee noted that the player participated in the match using the name \u201cWaro Bosco,\u201d which did not correspond with his official registration details, in violation of South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) General Regulations (2019).<\/p>\n

\u201cJalimo United FC fielded an ineligible player in the match,\u201d the committee said in a statement, adding that the player\u2019s participation under a name inconsistent with official registration constituted \u201ca clear breach of player eligibility and registration regulations, irrespective of intent or oversight.\u201d<\/p>\n

The association stressed that it received a formal petition from Falcon FC following the match, which Jalimo United had originally won 2\u20130. During the investigation, Jalimo United reportedly wrote to the FA admitting the goalkeeper was not registered under the name used and acknowledged the player was ineligible, attributing the incident to an administrative oversight.<\/p>\n

As a result, the KKFA ruled that Jalimo United forfeited the match and awarded Falcon FC a 2\u20130 victory in line with competition regulations governing forfeited fixtures.<\/p>\n

The association further warned that Jalimo United could face additional disciplinary measures, including fines or other administrative sanctions, and cautioned the club to ensure strict compliance with player registration rules in future competitions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
