The Ministry of Energy and Dams, led by Minister Agok Makur Kur, has hosted a major Middle East energy company to explore options for a sustainable and stable electricity supply for the country.<\/p>\n

In a press statement issued on Monday, the ministry\u2019s Press Unit confirmed that a leading Middle Eastern energy firm had expressed interest in providing permanent electricity solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cA major Middle Eastern company has expressed its interest in providing a permanent and stable electricity supply to the country,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

The meeting, held on Sunday in Juba, brought together a delegation of Turkish investors and senior officials from the Ministry of Energy and Dams.<\/p>\n

During the discussions, the investors signaled their readiness to invest in the energy sector. They proposed short-term solutions, including solar power and large-capacity generators capable of supplying reliable electricity to factories, companies, and cities.<\/p>\n

They also expressed long-term interest in dam construction projects.<\/p>\n

According to the press statement, Lamar Yape is a leading energy company in the Middle East and Turkey, with substantial capital and technical expertise to meet the country\u2019s electricity needs and support economic growth. T<\/p>\n

He company was represented by G\u00fcltekin Ertuk, Executive Assistant to Lamar Construction, along with other company officials.<\/p>\n

The ministry\u2019s delegation included Minister Agok Makur Kur, Undersecretary Macham Macham Angui, and several senior officials.<\/p>\n

Minister Makur welcomed the company\u2019s interest and granted approval for immediate investment following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU), which is currently being finalized.<\/p>\n

He expressed optimism that the agreement would be signed this week, paving the way for the urgent commencement of electricity projects across the country.<\/p>\n
