Johnson<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nThe Governor of Upper Nile State, Jacob Dollar Ruot, has condemned an attack against innocent civilians in Baliet County, allegedly carried out by SPLA-IO forces.<br \/>\nIn a statement issued on Monday by the Governor\u2019s Press Unit, Governor Dollar described the attack as an unacceptable act of violence against civilians.<br \/>\nSpeaking during a visit to Baliet County, he strongly denounced the incident and expressed concern over the loss of lives, injuries, and displacement caused by the attack.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Governor strongly condemned the attack, describing it as an unacceptable act of violence against innocent civilians,\u201d the statement said.<br \/>\nGovernor Dollar called on the population to remain calm and urged communities to reject revenge, emphasizing the need for peace, unity, and peaceful coexistence.<br \/>\nThe Governor visited Baliet County to condole with affected communities following the attack, which resulted in deaths, injuries, and the displacement of residents.<br \/>\nAccording to the statement, the visit aimed to express condolences and solidarity with families who lost loved ones during the incident.<br \/>\nGovernor Dollar conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and reassured the people of Baliet County of the state government\u2019s commitment to peace, the protection of civilians, and the pursuit of justice.<br \/>\nHe was accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Deng Akuei Kak, along with state ministers and senior government officials.
