The mayor further underscored that construction teams will operate during night and early morning hours to minimize disruption.<\/p>\n<p>The project is being implemented in line with directives from Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony, who instructed collaboration with the National Ministry of Roads and Bridges to embark on an extensive rehabilitation program across the capital.<\/p>\n<p>Juba\u2019s roads have long been plagued by potholes and poor drainage, contributing to traffic congestion, accidents, and damage to vehicles. The rehabilitation drive comes at a time when the city is experiencing rapid urban growth, with increasing pressure on infrastructure. Local businesses and commuters have often raised concerns about deteriorating road conditions, which hamper economic activity and daily mobility.<\/p>\n<p>By focusing on systematic repairs, the council aims not only to improve safety but also to project a modern image of the capital.
