Presidential Envoy Adut Kiir has held a consultative meeting with local communities in Yirol, with the aim of strengthening engagement with grassroots leaders and addressing critical development challenges.<\/p>\n

The meeting brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including traditional leaders, youth representatives, women\u2019s groups, and community officials.<\/p>\n

It provided an important platform for residents to directly present their concerns and priorities to the national government.<\/p>\n

According to a press statement, the meeting focused on enhancing collaboration with local leaders and listening closely to community needs.<\/p>\n

During discussions, community leaders raised several pressing issues, including poor road infrastructure, limited telecommunication services, and challenges within the education sector.<\/p>\n

Participants emphasized that inadequate road networks continue to hinder trade, restrict access to healthcare, and limit movement within and beyond Yirol. They also highlighted weak telecommunication coverage, which affects connectivity and access to vital information.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoad infrastructure emerged as our most urgent concern. Poor road networks remain the biggest barrier to trade, service delivery, and economic growth. Improved roads would unlock opportunities and better connect Yirol to the rest of the country,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

Youth representatives underscored the urgent need for improved education services, including better school facilities, access to learning materials, and increased support for students. They described education as essential to the area\u2019s long-term development.<\/p>\n

Envoy Adut Kiir acknowledged the concerns raised and reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to addressing the challenges facing Yirol. She stressed the importance of continuous dialogue between the government and local communities to ensure inclusive and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

She further encouraged unity and cooperation among residents, noting that lasting development can only be achieved through collective efforts between the government and the people.<\/p>\n
