He highlighted that every worker, regardless of skill level or profession, plays a vital role in shaping the future of the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery individual matters, and every worker contributes to the economic growth and development of our state,\u201d the statement read. \u201cWe honour your dedication and resilience, especially in the face of ongoing challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, individuals engaged in construction, agriculture, business, and infrastructure development were specifically acknowledged for their tireless efforts, which are made possible by the state&#8217;s security and stability.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew further noted that the achievements recorded in Eastern Equatoria would not have been possible without the cooperation and commitment of its people. He stressed that sustained progress depends on unity, collaboration, and the collective will to build a better future.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Governor reaffirmed the government&#8217;s commitment to engaging with citizens and stakeholders to improve service delivery and create more opportunities for growth. He underscored the government&#8217;s pledge to continue working closely with civil society organisations, religious institutions, and the business community, as well as national and international partners, to advance development goals.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the statement called on communities across the state to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence. Citizens were urged to support government efforts aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening public services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe call upon our communities to unite, coexist, and support the efforts of the state government in delivering services,\u201d the message concluded.<\/p>\n<p>International Labour Day, celebrated annually on May 1, serves as a global reminder of the importance of workers\u2019 rights and the critical role labour plays in national development.
