Residents of Twic County have praised Wunrok Nursery and Primary School for its growing role in expanding access to education and improving local livelihoods, following a sharp increase in enrollment from 30 pupils in 2024 to nearly 500 learners today.<\/p>\n

Community members said the school has become a symbol of hope, helping reduce long travel distances for children who previously struggled to access education.<\/p>\n

Residents noted that the institution has created a safer and more convenient learning environment while also improving school attendance and supporting child development in the area.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Deng Nyuol said the school has significantly improved access to education for children in the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe establishment of this school has greatly helped our children because they no longer walk long distances to access education. It is giving hope to families and creating a brighter future for our community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Local traders also reported economic benefits linked to the school\u2019s growth. Achel Josephine Dau said small businesses have improved due to increased customer activity around the school.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis school has helped many people in the market. Some women are selling tea, bread, beans, and other basic food needs every day. Even small earners are now benefiting because there are more customers around the school,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Community members added that tailors are also benefiting from the demand for school uniforms as enrollment continues to grow.<\/p>\n

The founder of Wunrok Nursery and Primary School, Deng Mawel Deng, called for support from partners and well-wishers to help expand infrastructure and learning materials.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are calling upon partners, organisations, and well-wishers to support the expansion of this school so that we can improve classrooms, learning materials, and provide a better environment for our growing number of learners,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He emphasised that continued support is essential to ensure that no child is left behind as enrollment increases.<\/p>\n

Community leaders also echoed calls for assistance to expand classrooms, desks, and other essential facilities to match the growing number of learners.<\/p>\n
