Development partners also play an important role by supporting civic education, electoral logistics, and peacebuilding initiatives.<\/p>\n
However, the primary responsibility rests with the government of South Sudan to create an environment in which every eligible citizen can exercise their democratic right safely and freely.<\/p>\n
Ultimately, successful elections are measured not only by the act of voting but also by the conditions under which they are conducted. Good roads will connect communities, facilitate electoral operations, and promote equal participation. Effective security will guarantee public confidence and reduce the risk of violence.<\/p>\n
