Jacqueline Natepi Ben.<\/p>\n<p>The two leaders discussed ways of strengthening trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting focused on identifying mutually beneficial trade opportunities and enhancing bilateral commercial relations between South Sudan and Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The two officials explored strategies to promote investment in key economic sectors and facilitate the exchange of goods and services as part of efforts to stimulate economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions also emphasised the importance of creating stronger business partnerships between the private sectors of both countries, encouraging investment, and improving market access for products from South Sudan and Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>In a press statement from the minister\u2019s office, Dr. Labanya reaffirmed the ministry&#8217;s commitment to expanding South Sudan&#8217;s trade relations with African countries through regional cooperation and economic diplomacy.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that stronger partnerships with Ghana could contribute to increased investment, job creation, and sustainable economic development.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Jacqueline Natepi Ben expressed her commitment to promoting South Sudan&#8217;s economic interests in Ghana by strengthening commercial ties, attracting investors, and supporting initiatives that enhance bilateral trade between the two nations.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting forms part of the government&#8217;s broader efforts to diversify South Sudan&#8217;s economy, expand regional trade, and attract foreign direct investment.<\/p>\n<p>South Sudan and Ghana enjoy cordial diplomatic relations as members of the African Union and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which aims to increase intra-African trade and economic integration.<\/p>\n<p>Ghana is one of West Africa&#8217;s fastest-growing economies, with strengths in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, financial services, and technology.<\/p>\n<p>For South Sudan, strengthening economic cooperation with Ghana presents opportunities to attract investment, expand export markets, share expertise in industrial development, and enhance private sector collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Trade and Industry has continued to engage with African partners to support economic diversification, improve regional trade, and create new opportunities for businesses across the continent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Sabri Dibaco The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Labanya Margret Mathya, on Monday held a consultative meeting with South Sudan&#8217;s Ambassador to Ghana, Amb.
