President Salva Kiir Mayardit has urged government officials to ensure the proper management of public projects to avoid unnecessary delays.<\/p>\n

The head of state made the remarks on Thursday during the inauguration of Terminal 3 at Juba International Airport.<\/p>\n

In his speech, President Kiir called on officials overseeing government projects to adopt effective management practices that led to the successful completion.<\/p>\n

The president commended all the institutions that contributed to the project’s success at Juba International Airport, citing that he was pleased with the achievement.<\/p>\n

“Today marks a significant milestone for Juba International Airport. I am pleased to officially open Terminal 3,” Kiir said.<\/p>\n

He stressed that effective management of government contracts is essential for the timely completion of development projects.<\/p>\n

“I urge all officials responsible for public contracts to ensure that government projects are not delayed because of poor management of government contracts,” he said.<\/p>\n

President Kiir also invited international investors to partner with the government in advancing South Sudan’s aviation sector.<\/p>\n

He said the completion of the additional terminal at Juba International Airport demonstrates the country’s continued progress.<\/p>\n

“The opening of this terminal demonstrates that we are moving in the right direction. This progress sends a strong positive signal to the world,” he said.<\/p>\n
