\u200eAuthorities in Yei River County have officially welcomed the newly appointed Executive Director, Hillary Lokudu, who assumes office to ensure unity.<\/p>\n

This followed the transfer of Hillary John Konga.<\/p>\n

Three other local government administrators also arrived from Juba to take up their new assignments, including Monday Joseph.<\/p>\n

\u200eThe reception ceremony, held at the Yei River County headquarters, brought together county officials, religious leaders, security agencies, heads of departments, local government staff, and members of the community.<\/p>\n

\u200eSpeaking during the ceremony, Yei River County Commissioner Samuel Henry Malimbo urged the new executive director and all local government officials to serve the people with dedication, professionalism, and integrity.<\/p>\n

\u200eThe commissioner said the county’s security situation has significantly improved, attributing the progress to the coordinated efforts of the county’s security institutions.<\/p>\n

\u200eHe commended the security agencies for their continued collaboration in maintaining peace and stability across the county.<\/p>\n

\u200eMalimbo also emphasised the importance of accelerating local development, calling for the construction of bridges and other essential infrastructure to improve connectivity and public service delivery throughout Yei River County.<\/p>\n

\u200eHe further appealed to government leaders to foster mutual respect within the public service, noting that every employee plays a vital role in ensuring the effective functioning of the county administration.<\/p>\n

\u200eThe commissioner concluded by urging residents of Yei River County to continue supporting peace and security, stressing that sustainable stability can only be achieved through collective responsibility and cooperation between citizens and government institutions.<\/p>\n

\u200eIn his acceptance remarks, the new Executive Director, Hillary Lokudu, expressed gratitude to the county leadership and the people of Yei River County for the warm reception accorded to him.<\/p>\n

\u200eHe pledged to serve with dignity, transparency, and commitment, encouraging residents and public servants to engage openly with his office by offering constructive advice and recommendations without fear.<\/p>\n

\u200e”No one is born perfect. I welcome ideas and guidance from everyone so that together we can improve service delivery for our people,” Lokudu said.<\/p>\n

\u200eDuring the ceremony, Father Joseph Arike, Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei, called on county leaders to serve faithfully and with commitment, reminding them that leadership is a responsibility entrusted to them by God.<\/p>\n

\u200eSimilarly, Bishop Levi Marandulu Yopete of the ECSS Diocese of Yei welcomed the new Executive Director and encouraged him to lead with love, unity, humility, and close cooperation with the people of Yei River County.<\/p>\n
