Women are among the most affected. By working closely with the police and the newly appointed community members, we believe these crimes will be significantly reduced,\u201d Chief Emmanuel said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the newly selected community security members will work alongside police officers to strengthen surveillance, improve information sharing, and enhance public safety across the neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of women in the community, the women\u2019s representative, Mama Catharine, welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely response to growing insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis measure will help us as women because we are the ones who often fear moving around due to phone theft and other criminal activities. We appreciate the community and the police for taking this step to improve our safety,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The youth representative, Mabu Juma, also pledged the commitment of young people to support peace and security in the area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs youth, we are ready to work hand in hand with the police and community leaders to reduce crime.
