Many personnel continue to face challenges related to deployment, accommodation, salaries, logistics, and operational support.<\/p>\n
Addressing these issues should be treated as a national priority. A trained force that is not properly deployed or supported cannot fully perform its duties.<\/p>\n
The unification process also requires sustained political commitment from all parties to the peace agreement.<\/p>\n
National leaders must demonstrate the political will to overcome delays, resolve disagreements through dialogue, and fulfill the commitments they have made to the people of South Sudan.<\/p>\n
The peace agreement was signed to end conflict and build lasting stability, and its implementation should remain above political interests.<\/p>\n
At the same time, regional and international partners should continue supporting South Sudan’s peace efforts.<\/p>\n
Their assistance in training, technical support, and capacity building remains valuable, but the primary responsibility lies with the government and the parties to the agreement.<\/p>\n
Sustainable peace cannot be imported; it must be built through national ownership and commitment.<\/p>\n
Citizens also have a role to play by promoting peaceful coexistence, supporting reconciliation, and encouraging leaders to remain focused on implementing the peace agreement.<\/p>\n
