{"id":47807,"date":"2026-09-11T14:40:12","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T12:40:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/?p=47807"},"modified":"2026-09-11T14:40:12","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T12:40:12","slug":"playmatters-phase-two-to-reach-13800-children-in-yei","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/index.php\/2026\/09\/11\/playmatters-phase-two-to-reach-13800-children-in-yei\/","title":{"rendered":"Playmatters phase two to reach 13,800 children in Yei"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>\u200eBy James Innocent<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u200eThe Project Manager for Plan International, Daniel Wani, says the PlayMatters Phase Two program will reach 35 schools, more than 13,800 children, and 360 teachers in Yei River County over the next four years.<\/p>\n<p>\u200eWani said the program, funded by the LEGO Foundation through the UBS Optimus Foundation, will run from July 2026 to June 2030 and aims to improve learning outcomes, teaching quality, and learner engagement.<\/p>\n<p>\u200eThe programme will support teachers to use active, structured and play-based approaches while delivering the national curriculum.
