{"id":48797,"date":"2026-10-13T12:46:01","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T10:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/?p=48797"},"modified":"2026-10-13T12:47:37","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T10:47:37","slug":"over-30-eastern-equatoria-students-arrive-safely-in-aweil-west-under-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/index.php\/2026\/10\/13\/over-30-eastern-equatoria-students-arrive-safely-in-aweil-west-under-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 30 Eastern Equatoria students arrive safely in Aweil West under scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Ijoo Bosco<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than 30 students from Eastern Equatoria State who travelled to Aweil West to benefit from the Adut Salva Kiir Scholarship Programme have safely arrived at their designated school.<\/p>\n<p>The students have joined colleagues from other parts of the country who had earlier travelled to Aweil West under the same scholarship programme to pursue their education.<\/p>\n<p>The headteacher of Marial Baai Secondary School in Aweil West, Valentino Achhak, confirmed the students\u2019 arrival and their reception at the designated school, where they are expected to continue their studies under the scholarship scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Eastern Equatoria State Caretaker Minister of Education Ibwaha Lucy Allam commended the school management and the organisers for ensuring the students\u2019 safe journey and arrival.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Ibwaha expressed appreciation for the efforts made to ensure that the students reached their destinations in Juba and Aweil in good health and condition.<\/p>\n<p>She also called for continued coordination between the management of Marial Baai Secondary School in Aweil West and the Eastern Equatoria State Ministry of Education through the state\u2019s coordinator responsible for students currently attending the school.<\/p>\n<p>The minister stressed the importance of maintaining communication and cooperation between the relevant authorities to support the students throughout their stay and studies in Aweil West.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ijoo Bosco More than 30 students from Eastern Equatoria State who travelled to Aweil West to benefit from the Adut Salva Kiir Scholarship Programme have safely arrived at their designated school.
