{"id":49155,"date":"2026-10-23T14:47:31","date_gmt":"2026-10-23T12:47:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/?p=49155"},"modified":"2026-10-23T14:47:31","modified_gmt":"2026-10-23T12:47:31","slug":"the-azande-kingdom-launches-fundraising-for-headquarters-in-bazungua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onecitizendaily.com\/index.php\/2026\/10\/23\/the-azande-kingdom-launches-fundraising-for-headquarters-in-bazungua\/","title":{"rendered":"The Azande Kingdom launches fundraising for headquarters in Bazungua"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Ballash Jerome<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Azande Kingdom has launched a resource mobilisation campaign to fund the construction of its headquarters and administration block in Bazungua, Western Equatoria State.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press statement issued on Wednesday by the Kingdom&#8217;s Prime Minister, Prince Tadeo Mario Sasa, the resource mobilisation plan stated that each household of the Azande community in the state across South Sudan was expected to contribute a recommended fee or its equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>Contributions would be collected through paramount chiefs, sub-chiefs, the Azande Community in South Sudan, and heads of the Azande Kingdom in the diaspora.<\/p>\n<p>The communities were encouraged to demonstrate their commitment toward the development of the Kingdom according to the statement, adding that the initiative aims to restore the Kingdom&#8217;s glory and promote Azande culture, peace, unity and social cohesion.<\/p>\n<p>His Majesty King Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue presided over the launch of the fundraising drive while calling on all Azande kingdoms and community organs managing fundraising activities to contact the Kingdom administration in order to align with official fundraising policies, procedures and accountability frameworks.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate directive, the Kingdom administration warned against unauthorised sale of land in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The administration directed all traditional leaders to refrain from illegal land transactions, stating that land allocation and ownership must follow proper procedures.<\/p>\n<p>The Kingdom said administrative measures will be taken against non-compliance and called on citizens to report any cases of unauthorised land sales to the Directorate of Agriculture and Land in the Azande Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>This awareness comes amid alleged reports of land mismanagement in the community of the Azande people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ballash Jerome The Azande Kingdom has launched a resource mobilisation campaign to fund the construction of its headquarters and administration block in Bazungua, Western Equatoria State.
