Augustino Jadalla at the Council of Ministers\u2019 Meeting Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The approved memo concerns the Central Equatoria State Operations License Regulations 2026 for the Directorate of Trade and Industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Council also deliberated on a separate memo regarding the centralisation of land lease and contract management.<\/p>\n<p>Following deliberations, the Council tasked the Caretaker Minister of Finance, Planning and Investment with operationalising the amended memo.<\/p>\n<p>The two proposals are considered important for strengthening the state\u2019s revenue collection and improving the management of government operations.<\/p>\n<p>The Council also reviewed the minutes of its previous sitting, received communication from the chair and discussed a security briefing presented by the Caretaker Minister of State for Local Government and Law Enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>According to the security report, the general security situation across Central Equatoria State remains calm and normal, despite isolated incidents.<\/p>\n<p>The Council\u2019s latest decisions come as the state government considers measures to improve revenue generation, administrative efficiency and the management of public resources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Louis Loku The Caretaker Council of Ministers of Central Equatoria State has approved, with amendments, a finance ministry memo on the 2026 Operations License Regulations, in a move aimed at strengthening state revenue and improving governance.
