The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has inspected Lainya Hospital to assess its condition and the challenges affecting healthcare delivery in the county.
During the visit, Governor Adil called for the renovation and expansion of the hospital, improved medical services, and better working conditions for health workers.
He stressed the state government’s commitment to ensuring that residents of Lainya and surrounding areas have access to quality and reliable healthcare services.
Governor Adil was accompanied by the State Minister of Health, Joyce Bakwa, and other government officials.
Minister Bakwa emphasised the importance of regular assessment, supervision, coordination, and follow-up of health facilities as essential measures for identifying gaps and improving the quality of healthcare services.
The visit underscored the Central Equatoria State Government’s commitment to strengthening the health sector.
