President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday dismissed Juba County Commissioner Emmanuel Tete Ezbon from his position in a decree.
According to the presidential decrees posted by the governor’s press unit on the official state page, the head of state also appointed a successor.
“The President of the Republic of South Sudan, H.E. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, has issued Presidential Decrees effecting a Relieve and Appointment of the County Commissioner in the Revitalized Transitional Government of Central Equatoria State (RTGOCES),” the statement partly read.
“In a significant move within the Central Equatoria government, President Salva Kiir Mayardit has officially relieved Hon. Emmanuel Tete Ezbon of his duties as Commissioner of Juba County,” it read.
In a separate decree, President Salva Kiir appointed Eng. Samuel Emiliano Wani Pitia as the Commissioner of Juba County.
According to the decree, the president expressed profound gratitude to the outgoing government official for his unwavering commitment and enormous contribution to the state during his tenure and conveyed his best wishes to the newly appointed official in his new assignment.
