The Director General for Culture, Youth, and Sports in Eastern Equatoria State, Justine Thomson Ondogo, has appealed to the state government, well-wishers, and the public to support renowned cultural musician and Director for Culture, Mr. Tommy Flame, who is currently battling a serious illness.

Ondogo is calling for immediate intervention, urging the government and communities to come together and stand with the veteran musician during this difficult period.

“Yeah, he is one of our renowned cultural musicians that all of us know. Let’s join hands now and support him. Let’s not wait until he is gone,” Ondogo said.

Tommy Flame, a well-known music star and cultural icon, has reportedly been battling the illness for about three months.

His condition is said to be deteriorating, prompting calls for prayers, medical support, and financial assistance from the government, families, and the wider community.

Ondogo is appealing to anyone willing to help to reach out to Tommy Flame’s family and caregivers.

Members of the public and well-wishers are encouraged to stand with the music legend and his family at this challenging time.
