Caretaker Governor of Eastern Equatoria State, Louis Lobong Lojore, has called on the Buya community and neighbouring communities to strengthen peaceful coexistence and cooperation.

The governor made the remarks while addressing a peace rally at Camp 15 in Loriyok Payam, where he emphasised the importance of maintaining peace among communities and promoting cooperation.

Lobong urged communities to peacefully share natural resources, including pasture and water, saying local leaders and community members should resolve differences through dialogue and mutual understanding.

He also called for unity and collective responsibility in maintaining peace and protecting shared resources for the benefit of all communities.

The Caretaker Governor encouraged community members and their leaders to work together to prevent conflicts and strengthen peaceful relations between neighbouring communities.

He stressed that cooperation and responsible management of shared resources are important for maintaining stability and supporting the well-being of communities across Eastern Equatoria State.
