The Central Equatoria State Caretaker Council of Ministers has unanimously adopted a fourteen-point policy direction presented by the Caretaker Governor Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani.

In his statement to the Ordinary Council sitting, Caretaker Governor Jadalla said the Caretaker Government must maintain institutional continuity, preserve peace and security, deliver essential services, manage public resources responsibly, and support preparations for the forthcoming general elections, his press unit stated.

He stressed that peaceful and credible elections must remain a priority, calling for civic awareness, dialogue, and tolerance, while discouraging hate speech, intimidation, and violence.

He said peace, unity, and reconciliation are collective responsibilities and directed all ministers together with their respective technocrats to serve citizens without discrimination.

The Caretaker Governor further called for strengthened public service delivery and institutional coordination and directed all ministries to properly account for revenue, including PIT collections, and ensure remittance through authorised systems.

The Ministry of Finance was tasked with updating workforce records and safeguarding pension entitlements.

He further directed the Ministry of Local Government to assess county administrations and improve police presence in underserved areas, while the Ministry of Information is to assess the Equator Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) and present a master plan to renovate and operationalise television broadcasting.

Meanwhile, on agriculture, the governor tasked the Ministry of Agriculture to assess drought, map grazing areas to prevent farmer-herder conflict, assess cooperatives, and address environmental degradation.

Also, the Ministry of Roads, Bridges, and Infrastructure is directed to prevent land grabbing and irregular land demarcation, while the Ministries of Education and Health are to audit schools, health facilities, drug supplies, and training institutions.

He also ordered all ministries to compile verified records of all government assets, including land, buildings, and vehicles, and refer any suspected irregular transactions to competent authorities.

Caretaker Governor Jadalla emphasized that caretaker ministers must personally supervise reports and respect collective decisions, saying that although time is limited, the caretaker period should be remembered for peace, discipline, accountable leadership, and service delivery to the people of Central Equatoria State
